Bulldog Cartage is a Midwest logistics company expanding across the U.S. Their old site didn’t reflect their bold, reliable brand or make key details easy to find. I redesigned it with a stronger visual hierarchy, clean layout, and subtle animations to draw attention to what matters most. The new design feels confident, engaging, and aligned with their growing presence.
A key challenge was giving the client flexibility to update both content and design without affecting the layout. I built the site using the Lumos framework and created modular components with linked properties, allowing the team to make updates easily within Webflow. For certain elements that needed to change based on business conditions, I introduced variants — enabling the client to switch layouts or styles from a dropdown in the property panel without spending time updating content repeatedly.
To give the client more control, I built flexible components with variants that allow them to switch between different layouts as needed. For example, in the careers section, I created two variants — “Open Jobs” and “Closed Jobs.” When active roles are available, they can display openings; when not, the section automatically shifts to encourage visitors to follow their social media for future opportunities. This approach eliminates extra work and gives the client the flexibility to update content easily through the property panel.
